About Hedgster

Last updated

Hedgster is an iPhone app that gives your portfolio a Hedge Score from 0 to 1000, shows exactly what is dragging it down, and stress-tests it against past crashes. Most apps tell you what you made. Hedgster tells you what you could lose, and why.

What we do

You connect your brokerage, Roth IRA, 401(k) and crypto accounts through Plaid. Hedgster gets read-only access to your holdings and cannot move money. In about two minutes you get one score built from five pillars: Shield, Growth, Efficiency, Stability and Balance.

Editorial standards

[Review this section and make sure it matches how your team actually works before publishing.]

  • Written by people with relevant experience. Every article names its author, and every author has a public profile with their background and credentials.
  • Fact-checked. Figures, historical data and claims are checked against primary sources before publication. Where an article was reviewed by a second expert, the reviewer is named under the byline.
  • Sources are cited. Articles list the data sources and research they rely on.
  • Kept up to date. When an article is meaningfully changed, the "Updated" date changes with it.
  • Corrections. If you spot an error, email us and we will correct it and note the change.
  • Independence. Hedgster does not accept payment to cover or recommend any security, fund or product.

Not investment advice

Hedgster provides educational analysis of portfolio risk. It is not personalized investment, tax or legal advice. Past performance and simulated scenarios do not guarantee future results.
